Title: Funny Splash N Dash Story
Post by: AquaMagic on November 13, 2006, 05:22:52 pm
A tradesman friend of mine was telling me about a job he was on the other day.  While he was there the customer had a CC in with a porty, turned up in his landrover and and got his gear out of the boot (not signwritten transport), cleaned the carpet, packed up and held out his had for the cash, custy says im not happy as you havent removed that stain that your promised would go, anyway after 10 mins of CC saying he'd done his best and custy refusing to pay, the CC emptied his Waste tank over the carpet, custy just laugh's and says, "Well that was clever wasnt it", promblem was she lived in a flat above a saloon and pointed out that they would perhap soon be seeing the waste water,Splash n Dash bloke runs out to his Land rover wheel spins off and returns with a Wet Vac and recovers as much of the water as possible then wheelspins off a second time with no extra pictures of the queen in his wallet.

I see two morals here.

1. Never promise stain removal, only advise you will use industry proven methods and will do your best.

2. Never act when the red mist had set in, always count to 10 as they say and rethink before acting.

Are you saying he packed away all his stuff, then got it back out and then emptied it out all over the carpet ?
If so he must have put the machine back in the landrover full !, daft thing to do isn't it ?.

I've heard cleaners do this before, must be a South Yorkshire thing, unless it's the same man !

I had 1 the other day that wanted to have 30 days credit, "can you leave me your bill and I'll pay it at the end of the month"he said.

ha ha ha ha ha ha NO, we went to the mini bank.

Hi

Shaun you sound like one of those dodgy roofers that take pensioners to the bank.

It cant cost £1500 its only a small room.
