Ive noticed that John and Alexs trading names both begin with Dyna just wondered what Dyna stands for?
Mine begins with Carpet I know what that stand for.

Hi Ian,
Dyna means power (derived from Greek/Latin).
e.g dynamic,dynamite.
It was a word that was popular in the seventies,i.e 'Dynarod'
Cheers,
Dynamic doug!

Spot on Doug !
Ian,
It's and old-fashioned name, but I founded Dynafoam in 1966.
At that time HWE as we know it today did not exist, and I had just built my first extraction machine. Since the vacuum power was much lower than is posible today, it was necessary to control the water by means of a high-solids shampoo prior to extraction - hense the second part of the name.
So now you know ;)
John.

Dynamic Doug now we have Dynamite John

Concidering how old John must be I thought it stood for Dynasaur ;D
