looking to buy a facelift carbon 45ft very soon as they seem to be very good & what i'm after.
just wondered if any of you guys have tried one/bought one or even seen one in the flesh & if so what do you reckon?

i would look at the featherlites or suprlites first
as they work out cheaper and are much easier to use

that trolley looks familiar! mines in red, poles too! played with mine yesterday.
alot of companies seem to have the same stock, superlites from gardiners blooming good recommended. very fine piece of kit. if it were telescopic now that would be a weapon of mass destruction. put over sections are ok when you are putting it togeather mind they dont fall over they are so light. had to chase one down the garden when the wind got up...

never used one to be fair but i cudn't imagine using a 45 ft pole that wasn't telescopic with clamps. however, it's coming but when?? i'm about to buy as i'm desperate, my glass pole is about to snap!!

Hi Macmac, the telescopic superlite is still a little way off and will only complement the standard Super-Lite, as it will only reach about 22ft.
Having used a 45ft telescopic pole for 5 years previously, all I can say is that it was a blessed relief to start using the super-lites, you get used to the modular nature and you will never go back to anything heavier.

I will also say though that the 45ft Facelift is a very well made piece of kit, nice clamps. A good choice if you have to have it in telescopic. We will be offering them on our website soon with the ability to put a super-lite neck/brush on them.

We are working at Lostiwithiel on Monday (today) and Bodmin on Thursday this week with them, any good to you?
Next monday we will be on the Travel Lodge in St.Austell using it and over at St.Columb Major on Thursday using it.

As to reviews, we are only just keeping up with the demand for them as it is, they are selling as soon as they hit our shelves! In fact last week one chap bought a 35ft from us and the day he received it he ordered another one straight off.

I not totally clear on what you are saying. The new pole you are talking about is going to be half telescopic and half modular? Is that right? And when do you think it might be on sale as I have some high stuff coming up in December and need to buy something that can deal with it.

Hi TDW,
The new telescopic superlite, will be a telescopic pole working on the principles of the super-lite (very light weight) but will only reach to about 20ft-24ft depending on the final spec. It will complement the super-lite in that you would be able to use the telescopic for all the low stuff and only have to get the big modular super-lite out for work over 20-24ft.
We still have no idea how long the final development stage will be.

How compatible is it cleaning windows from the side above a conservatory,
is there any risk of it snapping. Reason being I'm getting loads of calls
where the houses have a window above a garage.
I currently use you pole but after a morning poop my arms are like jelly.

Used my new 44ft c/f facelift pole today....takes some getting used to as I have previously been using a 24ft g/f excel pole.....
Used it on some 3 storey work that I just got..think that I will get used to the pole and goose neck....All in all not bad at all...but 3 houses is not enough to make any clear judgements.....
The only real comment I have is that I believe that I able to move the vikan brush around (into corners etc) with more accuracy than the facelift brush...but then again it was only the first use.

The super-Lite is great for using sideways! I have a job where I use it at 30ft and use it at 45 degrees sideways and 45 degrees out in front and it is still very easy to handle. The key to this is the top 4 sections on the pole, they are the lightest of all the section and so reduce weight exactly where you need it reduced.

I'd love one so light and i'm looking atm for a 60' pole but what on earth do you do with all the extra bits when you get down to 50' or 40' on the same building , they must end up being left all over the place , not so bad if the frontage is grass thats not walked over much but what if its a car park they would get run over surely

Carbon Really good to work with breaks down really easily

got to say they seem to be the business and more & more retailers are stocking them too, so thats usually a good sign.
