Hi,
i bought a used pole and it came with the thin transparent hose , which goes right up to the brush,
but water came out in a trickle,
petski kindly let me use his pole and i attached it to my ordinary hose connector and pump, and the water belted out brilliantly,
he has the blue hose but he bought it with the pole, and its wider in diameter than that clear thin stuff,
does anyone know the name and supplier of the blue hose...? i know my info is a bit vague but would be grateful of any help.
Thanks,
Gary.

Not pointing out the obvious as you probably already have, but have you checked the jets and the "Y" piece to make sure it's not blocked?

Try your local DIY store for the pipe people use for home brewing kits and wine making, thats what mself and a couple of others use around here, you will find it is about half the price. You could even buy a full reel for spares at an even better price.

Gazza, I use the same stuff, If you tie a small ring near the bottom of the pole you can fold the hose and push it through the ring to stop the flow. It's simpler than Peters auto brush and just as affective. If you just want to stop the flow between windows, you can just fold and hold the hose, if you want to stop it for longer then use the ring. dai

You sound like my kind of guy!
Simple diy solutions. ;D

the coplexol that cleantech do is 6mm bore - the clear pole hose is normally 5mm although will sometimes be 6mm, not enough of a differece in bore to make a big change in flow.

THANKS.
WISH I NEVER ASKED NOW LOL. ;)
ok what is the standard size you guys all use . up the old pole...?
good idea the brewers stuff marc. ;)

Are all of the connectors identical?
If there is a slight difference the pressure will suffer.

Gazza, I'm using 6mm i/d outside the pole. Dai

No the stuff I use is blue. It's very flexible, I used to have it on my hose reel, but it's got a rubbery feel to it, and it snagged up on everything.
Makes great ole hose though. Dai
