Herbie,

I've uploaded an old ladder method and risk assessment in the documents to upload section.  Hopefully it'll still be there, but I don't think it's the 'best'; but it was good enough to get a large job, a few years back.

Is this risk assessment for ladders or WFP or both?  I think it matters.

I wouldn't mind a copy of what-ever you get too, since I've got to knock one up for a job I already do!

PS.  I like your avatar, I wish I had a cock as big as the one in your picture.

Hi

I have just completed a course which had a lot to do with risk assements. generally you will have to write down what equipment you will be using ( ie wfp )and the risks involved (ie electric cable, parked cars, public access, trailing pipes. ) You will then have to write down the control measures you intend to put in place ( ie safety signs and hosepipe ramps.) The risk assement has to be specific to the place of work and should include full address, your contact number, names of employes, phone number of nearsest hospital incase of accident , meeting point for emergency services. A form is the best way of doing this and I have one which suits my business ( chainsaw work ) which involves a lot lot more.

Hope this helps

Justin

Remember that what I've sent you is a risk assessment and method statement that I carried out for a specific job.

Its a helpful guide if you've never done one before, but your own risk assessments need to be specific to the site that you are involved with.

Why just don't post in it in the documents section? I mean, it always starts the same, one person asks : please send it to me aswell!!! and then another 5 people haha.  ;D

Wouldn't it be easier if everyone could have acces to it?

I'd love to have a template aswell! :)
