Hi all.
Bit of a frost again last night. Heater in the van which keeps it frost free. I have 2 thermometers in the van just to make sure and it didnt get colder than 6 degrees last night. Been to my van this morning to load up and all three filter vessels are almost empty.
Any ideas as to what could have caused this as I am now getting worried.
The hose pipe was left connected last night, and that is partially frozen now, could that have done anything.
Like I said the van was frost free all night. Any insight to this would be much apreciated.
Thanks all
Ant

I am no expert, but from what you have said, if your supply was partially frozen perhaps the supply wasn't getting through to your filters and the pressure wasn't enough??
Maybe some of the experts can give a better explanation?

Trev,
The supply wasn't frozen at all but what i was thinking was that as I left the pipe attatched over night maybe that may have caused it.
Would being half or three quarters empty damage the filters in any way.
I have filled them up again now and they seem to be ok and I gave them a good flushing but it has got me puzzled.
Cheers for the reply Trev.

Still worried, by the lack of responses.
Only joking.

I'm not WFP, but the only explaination I can come up with, if you have no leaks,
as your hose began to freeze back siphoning may of accured hense only half full filters.
Don't take my word on it, just another thought.

Its happened again.
Filled the tank up and dis-connected the hose.
The waste water pipe continued to run and the filters were emptying again. Most odd.
The tds reading is stil 0 when i fill up but this has got me scratching the old noggin.
