I just remember how hot it was a few weeks ago and somehow the cold doesn't seem so bad. Working in the cold is miserable but I still prefer it to working in the baking heat.
It will soon be time to start checking out the prices of the flights to Florida

Instead of firing straight up this morning my van turned over about 5 times before it started - I thought to myself "yep, winter is here".  :-\

Andy,

I turn over more than 5 times before I start up!!!!!

First cold day - lovely.
I found it a lot easier WFP than it was trad, trudging up and down me ladder in full winter PPE!!

First frost this morning but it was a fantastic day.

Temp just right when you got to 9.30.

My best ever earnings day today. Our 800ltr tank was empty by the end of the day. Roll on tommorw.

Cold 1st thing where i am but come 10am i was working in my t-shirt.

Clear sky here tonight and suppose to be -2. Had the water a poles freeze up a couple of times last winter.

Just been out to light my paraffin heater i got the other day. Never used one in the van before but thought i would give it a try tonight to see how warm the van is in the morning.

Only thing is you have to leave the window open slightly because of the fumes.

Hi craig

What sort of parafin heater did you get.
Im thinking about this myself but a bit worried about the van going up in flames.

Cold but sunny here today, bob hat on all day.

Supposed to be -2 here tonight so put my fan heater from argos, on in the van tonight, on frost free setting  ;).

It was lovely here in South East Wales.  A bit chilly first thing and late afternoon, but I spent all of today in a polo shirt.

Global warming is great!

Hi Paul

Just got a small cold-frame heater. It apparently gives you 3 days continuous use on one tank full.

Cost £13 from a local Garden Centre.

Just been out to check on it and apart from the smell of paraffin it's slightly warmer in the van than outside.

The windscreen on my Transit feels like it is starting to freeze but my work van seems ok at the moment.
