Post by: SteveTruman on May 25, 2004, 10:55:38 pm
Off to clean house tomorrow which was burgled. I have been asked to clean windows as they are covered in dusting powder from the local constabulary.. Somebody told me it can be a pain to get off, is this correct, if so what do you guys recomend or does it come off with hard washing?? Any advice wlcome.

I don't know about in the U.K., but you have to have a special BBP licence for crime scene clean-ups in the States - especially if there is blood involved. Take a look at this website:-

Perhaps if you contact these people, they can give you advice:-

I had to clean that off once, i found it very easy using the normal method. Nothing to worry about there.
