just found some great stuff called algon for getting rid of moss & did 1st job on sunday using a £10 pump up backpack from netto trouble is spray wasnt powerfull enough to reach roof ridge so im expecting bottom 3/4 to look good & rest like a footy pitch. does anyone know how i can solve this or where i can get a more powerful (cheap) backpack(sprayer)
or will i have to resort to roof ladders???

beefy, if you can fit a one way valve it will get you higher, i use them all the time,
-
sounds ok could you explain that please jouk

buy a one way valve ,fit it near to the end of the hose as possible, it keeps the pressure up
and stops gravity, stops the weight of the water falling back, i use the aquarium one, about 50p each
-
sorry to be dense but do you fit it at the nozzle end of the hose or bpack end & where do you buy them from ( you see why i never managed to build my own wfp) lol

Hi Beefy if you follow the link you will see pictures of how Jouk 45 used the one way valve.
