I use WFP mostly and am having my van sign written.
What do you suggest I have on it?

Safer window cleaner. If you believe some ofthe stuff on the other forum care of a manufactorer advertising WFP will get your van trashed. Basic rule: keep it simple but noticable

If you want people to notice you put Icecream on the side and have a chime ;D ;D and when they come and ask for an icecream tell them you dont sell them but will do thier windows for a tenner ;D ;D.........
Seriously I would put what you do and youre phone number in Big Letters, then youre name in smaller ones.....you want people to know you clean windows before they see the name......look at other trades vans, the company name is big but what they do is smaller or not on at all, that makes no sence.......you are selling a service, not youre company name....

Agree with Johnboy - unless you're a multinational (BT etc) what you do is more important than who you are.
So... "Window cleaner" and phone no. .... BIG! Your co name ...... Smaller How you clean the windows Smaller

Write window cleaner and phone number . Have it big enough that the neighbour over the road and two doors up who's peeking out behind her curtains can read it.

craig that is the business!! You do realise your kids have added so much more than a professional image to your business - they've added character and IDENTITY. You're different from the rest, stands out a mile and has comedy value.
Nice one.

How about:
'ABC Window Cleaning.
Phone 01291 621951 for a no obligation quote.
Ask for Tosh'
Seriously though, I don't think you need to specify anything at all about pure water cleaning. I honestly don't think the customer cares as long as their windows are left clean; you're a nice guy and provide a good service.
Why 'bamboozle' potential customers with geeky window cleaning technicalities? You can do that when you turn up to clean; by which time it'll be too late for them to refuse.
Look at other trade signage, sometimes I'm confused to what they do or what services they're offering. That must be a waste of time, effort and cash on naff signage.
I reckon if you keep it simple, you can't go far wrong.
