Why the bags over the brushes Neil???????????

Is it to stop contamination when they're not being used

Nope.

I was so determined not to have drips going on to the van floor when I first started that I had a fetish for plastic bags.

After about 4 weeks I got fed up of putting the bags over the poles.

I must say my van floor is nearly bone dry all the time. I have no leaks at all in the van.

My mini poles are now clipped into the sides at the back of the van and they sit in square containers that just fit perfectly in the back.

I have drilled and fitted plastic clips next to my pole holders over the tank, so my pole hoses are wound up after use and hung up.

There is more dust on the van floor rather then water. My mates cant beleive it as their vans are allways soaking.

How about you chaps. Do the hozlelocks leak propole on your set up? Very nice by the way.

They/the system never leaks mate, but my floor allways gets wet, what with all the hoses comming in and out I try and stay on top of it, like I said I have to clean my van every day. Sort the back out everything in order clean my cab right out get all the paper crap in order chuck away rubbish sweep everything down because I hat everything mess and untidy.

Hi SAJ,

How comes your softner is you top filter, on mine it goes pre-carbon then softner then R.O.?

I have seen it set up like yours in the brochure and allways wondered why the hell min are in different order, Also I never got a fancy Reach and Wash logo on my R.O, quite dissapointed with that.

Never had it seviced, in 4 years only had 1 pump fail.

The Reach & Wash logo was designed (i think) by OTT.

alright macc, where did you get that racking from or did you make it? need some storage for cloths, buckets etc etc...

Hi Propole,

I,ve had a mental day. first things first. The clear tube out of the tank is to show the water level. Good job really with tank being black.

Car has been deliverd but I have only driven it up the drive, not had time.

Yes its an 800ltr tank.

For my sons van it will be a 400ltr if I decide the diy route.

Or it could be a facelift tank again 400ltr. I have had a price from them but I have yet to enter Serious Negotiations on the price.

We went to Brodex this morning to pick up a couple of predator poles I had orderd on special offer. Had a look at their 250 Di tank, very nice. They can join two together to form a 500ltr. But I have to measure the van up to see if it will fit.

Those are my three choices.

Hi Steve.

I got it off Ebay in the racking section. Dug out my invoice, total with delivery £183.70. Its perfect & you can adjust the height.

There email address is h.laight@trukrax.co.uk.

The trading name is trukrax

Hope that helps.

Your son is very lucky Neil, my old man wouldnt do that for me however my old dear would and has. I wouldnt be here today if it wasnt for my old girl :)

2 x 18'.

The locking clamps are good to use. Better then the ones on the excell poles.

Great poles for the price with the metal end caps and metal collaer.

Thanks Jason

cheers macc just had a look they look pretty good. how did you mount yours over the back wheel?

The bottom is a door only so the next door is a tray (shelf), you fix the shelf to the height needed so the wheel arch is not a problem. It looks a lot to put together & fit but was in the van & fitted in a couple of hours.

Yes Jason.

They join another one to it so it converts into a 500 ltr tank.
