Do you guys have a risk assesment for your domestic round? If so how do you go about this??
-
A Risk assesment is used to check your Accessibility around the property, checking for trip hazzards, ie kids toy's garden furniture and orniments, slippy decking (especially) on wet days. this includes your access to windows were you would struggle to get to a window, say above a conservatory or pitched roof. its all for yours and the customers safety.
if the obsticals can't be removed to protect your safety then don't do the window/s

do you just have one generic assesment for your round in writing or do you have one for each job.
-
You only need to do a visual Risk assesment if you employ less than 5 people.
But on commercial some will still ask for it in writing

thanks paul. Was just on the phone to the HSE trying to find out whether i need employer liability insurance to which he said "its a legal minefield i cant help you"!!! Great!! does anyone know!!! :'(
I asked him about risk assesment and he said the same as you, so thanks!
Also asked about ladders again to which he couldnt give a straight response as per usual. Im sure they love to leave things as hazy as possible so if they come across you one day and fancy some fine money they have a good chance of getting it!!
