You may be surprised but at last im coming over to the dark side and getting kitted out with a wfp system.
In preparation i am cleaning with pure water and gg4 at the moment and am cleaning along the top of the frames where it can be fairly dirty.
Im putting together an explanatory letter ready to unleash pure water on my customers!!
wish me luck!! :-\ :-\

Good Luck, try to enjoy the pain of the learning curve. ::)
As you go round see if you can spot the difference with your scubber on hphobic and hphillic glass. You can usually feel the resistance "friction" of glass that beads.
You will make a bit less money now, but will recover it later, maybe in the spring when visibility gets better.
So take extra care on those ladders.

I hope that all goes well. Our customers seem to be ok with wfp once they know the great benefits.
Once again best wishes too you.

Good luck Mark hope all goes well. ;) ;)

I suggest one area of your round at a time - get one area done and you will then feel confident about "rolling it out" across the rest of your round.
In six months they'll all be converted, a few die-hards dropped and you'll be safer and earning more!

exactly what im planning on doing. Ive a round that is in definite areas that i can introduce over a few months.
Im planning on doing just upstairs to get the customers used to the system whilst cleaning down stairs with pure water and gg4
There was some interesting terms there such as hphobic and hphilic glass??? Is that glass that doesnt and does like pure water??

Yes,
dont split it up into "areas" do a few in each round.
But some do it all at once.

I did my whole round in one go when i changed over just to get any problems out of the way in one hit.
And it worked well.

I converted my entire round to wfp in one go.
I hated the first cleans, it was so slow, I thought what have I done.
If I was to go through it all again I would do it exactly the same way.
yes the first month is awfull but after that you will start to feel like the cat that got the cream.

My big concern was that the Ro unit would go on the blink and I wouldn't have the know how to sort it out. As it turns out it never really happened but for a long time I was limited by how much water I could produce. Especially with allthose first cleans.

Just got the dreaded first month of first cleans out of the way now, getting a bit quicker on second cleans but still unsure and probably going overboard to get a good job done. I know this all comes with practice and confidence but I'll keep plodding on for now hopefully getting quicker as time passes. ;D
