I have recently bought a Rotovac, and to be honest i dont see a vast differance between my wand or power brush in the results or drying times.
I have only used it on two occasions so far and it could be the way i have tried to use it.
What is your opinion on them and have you seen significant improvements in results and drying.
Both jobs were domestic where the room was clear, is it better suited to commercial jobs?
Prior to buying it i had heard good things about these machines and i would be intereted in your comments.
Thank you

the rotovac is a great tool on very dirty carpets :). I have cleaned carpets that I thought would not come clean with mine, and it takes most of the dirt out. how ever its one down side is that it leaves the carpet wetter than a wand unless you do 3 or 4 dry passovers :(. On a big job this can become borring and hard work :'(. I do still use mine but only on very bad carpets.

I tried the Rotovac at Altec and I was not very impressed.
I was heavy, seemed to use an awful lot of water/chemical and cost a fortune.
It just didn't seem to do the business.
I am sure there are better options.
But that's another topic.
But like most equipment there will be those for and against, in previous discussions on this topic I think the odds there stacked a little against.
