Hi all.
just practicing on my own house with my new shurflo backpack...
The water pumps through ok.. but it gets to the brush and drips straight to the ground without reaching the window... even on downstairs...
i cant even wash a window let alone rinse it.
i have fully charged the battery and set it to the highest pump setting, can anyone help please...? ???
gary.

either there is a leak on the outlet or its drawing in air on the inlet.
-
It may be the jets are a bit large on your pole.
My mate had this problem with a tucker pole and had smaller jets made up and its perfect now.

thanks, the jets are very small, and i dont know how to check for air etc ...
i knew something would go wrong,
never have any luck
-
Gazza,
I think you should phone the supplier. Who did you buy it from?
-
hi tosh i got it from cleantech..
i have rung them , think they are closed,
and emailed them.
i bought the pole with a brush... and i think the guy did a home made job on the brush... i have cut away some of the bristles around the holes ... its a bit better but not much... i can pee further ::)
-
Did you get it off ebay?
-
I'm sure the brush and everything is okay, but your backpack should squirt water out on setting number two; about two-and-a-half litres per minute.
Try it with just the hose, without the brush, and see what it's like.
Try it without any hose; have a bit of a fanny about with it.
If all fails, get onto Cleantech. They're a good company, so you shouldn't have any bother with them.
-
ok thanks i will try that tosh cheers..
i got it direct from cleantech fast one
-
Your probably be ok then mate.good luck ;)
-
Was the brush and pole second hand?
ie. Has it been used before?
If it has, do as Tosh says, check first to see that your backpack is pumping water out with a good flow just through a bit of hose. If that is still a problem you know it's something to do with the backpack. If the flow is fine, then you know you have a blockage somewhere in your pole/brush. I had a blockage a while back..took all the backpack apart! Ended up being the little Y piece on the brush, where your pole hose goes to the brush, pull it all apart and clean through. You'll find it. It probably isn't the backpack if that is charged and running good.
Don't panic Gary, you sound like me, when something goes wrong don't think the worst, think of the simple, obvious things first! ;)

Hi Paul.

Thanks, Macc

Either send the backpack back, or take it apart, check the hose connections on the pump, you could be drawing air in.
Is the powerpack fully charged?
Is the pump running right?
