was asked today to clean a leather suite, have done quite a few over year but none like this very soft feel to it, hard to describe really don't want to go charging in, any ideas where i can get more info on leather etc?

Yes we would really like a few more details before we can give you the sort of help we usually give.
The leather may be an aniline style leather if it is very soft although that is not always the case. If it is it may scratch when you run your nail across it and it would absorb cleaning product very easily. We usually do a microscope test as well to confirm what we are dealing with.
If it is an aniline then your cleaning results may not be brilliant due to the fact that it is absorbent. There are however other things that can be doen.
If it does not absorb product then it is a pigment coated leather in which case cleaning results should be good.
