Title: Do you use Bordex poles?
Post by: brett walker on October 19, 2006, 01:23:43 pm
Hi all

im thinking of changing over to a 25ft predator lightweight pole

Does anyone use any other Bordex poles?  What are they like in regards of everyday use, weight, durability etc and do the clamps last

thankyou

Brett

I use a brodex ecolite 18ft.
Its an extender pole with alloy base cap.
I had to change the feed pipe in the pole, it was clear braided airline hose and too heavy.
Its a good pole.
The predator is heavier, thats why its cheaper.
I prefer the extender pole to work with, theres nothing lighter.
They only last me 6 month, but they are cheap.

Hi Guys, we supply Brodex poles.  The Ecolite is not an extender nor a universal, the fibreglass is actually made by another firm in england.  The ecolite range is probably one of the best and certainly nothing else comes close for the money - both in weight, strength and price.

I would strongly recommend Ecolite and thats not because we supply them, we supply them only because they are that good.

the 25ft ecolite is 2.3kg, its 4 section and its actual length is 22 or 23ft, however I can quite easily work with this pole above shoulder height, its that light and easy to work with.  Alloy base cap and duralock clamps mean you get much more life out of the pole.

I'll e-mail some pics if you like.

Hi Guys, sorry I meant to postpics tody but had 2 trailer systems to finish and then up to the hospital to see younger sister (burst appendix - doctors missed it for 6 weeks, very lucky to be alive).

I'll make sure and post them tomorrow afternoon.
