Iv just finished work at 8pm >:(
Iv been working away at this carpet for hours and it just wont come clean, in the end i said i would have to stop as its to late and come back in a couple days to finish.
Its was a state to start with and it is better but it needs something else the traffic areas and stairs are still really grubby and theres a few marks left.
So im looking for a good pre-spray to attack it with next time, something with some real power, so what do you recomend???
Its a nylon or polypropelene carpet. I was thinking of trying "Craftex Champion"
-
You could try that or Multisolve. Don't forget sometimes manmade fibres have been abraded so much by the dirt it is virtually impossible to revive them.
-
Cheers John, Which would you recommend? im gona put that order back in for the ramp in a minute so il order a bottle of watever you reckon and give it a try.
I know that its not just wear and that the dirt will come out, because were iv spoted some paint and make-up using (pog) it has left bright clean patches everywere.
-
Yes try the multisolve. Its the solvent doing the trick in the pog and multisolve might be the most cost affective way of cleaning it. Let me know how you get on, I have a polyprop / nylon carpet to do next week and its gross ::)

Guys
Heavy concentration of Bliz with hot water, prespray agitated with a heavy machine like an envirodri, you will see a massive difference before you even extract.

If its polyprop ( put a fiber in a glass of water and see if it floats) the A217 Ultra pac renovate will kane it my friend, thats what its designed for.
Easy

Whats A217 ultrapac ?

Hi Fibrefresh,
Prochem Ultrapac Renovate.
Very good on Carbon deposits , well worth keeping on your van.
I reckon I use 5 l every 3 years so hardly expensive.
Cheers

You didnt say what Pre- Spray you had used ??
-
You can use the Ultra pac renovate as the pre spray, its from prochem,a good product for last resort and getting you out of the smelly stuff.
-
Its the best pre spray for poly prop.

Ended up using Chemspec enz-all with ultimate master as a rinse, and it came up a treat :D
Anyone know if i can use the enz-all on wool as well without problems? and is the ultimate master a suitable rinse or should i have just used water?
