Title: MerlinRO "Tip"
Post by: thewindowcleaner1 on October 15, 2006, 11:12:51 pm
After many weeks/months of suffering a low out put and a poor output TDS reading (22-28) I decided to order a new BETTER Ro, Knowing that this was on order and the output of the Merlin would not keep my vans running until the new one arrives I striped it down Could Not do much except soak membrains in pure water,
as I was putting it back together I noticed that one of the rubber O rings on the Membrains was out of shape, so I wraped the ends of both membrains with some PFT tape to make a solid seal. put it back together and turned on WOW... output TDS now 12-14 water flow without booster pump with pressure at 35psi good with booster pump on at 85psi 2000 ltrs a day
