I'm with Andy,

Just use a small tarp with clips to secure if windy.

Kind regards,
Jason.

Hi Guys,

I use my hose bags with a tub of chemical on top if its windy, just tilt it so that the water runs off.

Cheers

Doug

Be careful not to block any air intake or outlets as this can cause your vac motors to overheat. Dougs idea the best, just put a hose bag or a folded tarp over the top to keep the water off.

the ashbys rain cover is excellent, it has the advantage of a flap so you can fill the machine without having to remove it, also has built in air inlet + see thru coverers for switches . it's £59+vat . a luxury but when its raining and there is limited space inside the property its money well spent.

The Ashbys cover for the Ninja is not a cheap looking piece of plastic tarp.  Its an excellantly made cover.

Please dont make a cover as it will look like crap outside the £1million house your cleaning.

Use your head and stop counting pennies.

If you require a better material for my Blue Peter cover you could use Horticulture  Quality covering available in various densities, Remembering  I should have added you will also need Velcro for the flaps.

However if as most of you take over £1000 a week do as Mark says and buy one .

My Ninja certainly needs a cover. A cloud appears and it cuts out for 30 mins.  :-[

BBQ covers do work. Got one at weekend after reading this thread. £8.99 from Argos.
