Hi
If its fake then it should be wet cleanable.
I have done similar in the past with no problems.

Second that shouldnt be a problem, just a standard flock i would have thought.

Just treat it gently at first- and lay off the solvents and high heat- hand hot at most.
Most clean a treat but I have had one or two that shed loads of fibre when towelling off. Try things first.
The majority you can do with a yardbroom!

did one the other week, he phoned some local cleaner before me
first cleaner they called took away the small cusion and bought it back saying he could'nt guaranntee results, said the cusion was a nightmare to clean
it was a 12inch by 12 inch cusion, he said he had to go over it twice, and it went "all funny and shiney when it was wet"
AND HE HAS BEEN IN BUSINESS FOR 28 YEARS
i looked at it and told the custy the process of actually cleaning the suite and that while wet ,these can sometimes look pretty bad but when they start to dry they look fantastic
he was still very unsure cause the other bloke
who has been in business for 28 years said he did'nt really want to do it
after reassuring this custy he agreed to have me clean it
GOD IT LOOKS LIKE NEW, he said after seeing it cleaned
my point is. the first cleaner did'nt have a clue what this material was so did'nt want to clean it , blaiming the suite fibres rather than his lack of knowledge,
so just because you've been going 28 years. it does'nt mean you know what you are doing, probably never had a days training in his whole life
