Title: varistream pump contr. from the hip?
Post by: jikwan on October 06, 2006, 01:11:52 pm
hi guys
on the verge of entering trolley wfp...
making a few adjustments and modifications
any way of controlling pump pressure without transfering
the huge controller (pretty frail thing it is)
is there something smaller- would a dimmer switch work?
a nice switch that hooks on the hip instead of running about
once, on,  twice, adjust the flow, third time switch off

varitech 01752263333, they sell a hozle lock type conector fits to tail of pole tubing has a holster so fits to hip, you can turn water completley off as you move between windows. i  just got one can't really get on with it on hip but still saves water and running back to trolley i have the freedom trolley has varistream control as you turn off the valve on hip connector the pump goes to standby saves energy i hope this is of use to you mate.

hi Lee
what is a hozle lock type conector?
is it just a small manually operated valve?
if it is  then the pump is still pumping
pump will get damaged   or not

Tony is the mag ariel actually  4 metres and does it use the van roof as a ground plane. If so possibly not for use on a trolley ?
