Been window cleaning for 18 months but made a right cock up today. Quoted for a big house with a conservatory, old georgian one worth about £400,000.. Traditional, quoted £40 thinking about 2 hours work. Got there and the windows were filthy and sills and frames ( which I always do) took me 3 and a half hours!! God I was mad but it's my own fault I suppose. Least they're gonna be a lot cleaner when I go back next month.
Tomorrow's another day!!

O yeah. We've all done it. I still do get it wrong occasionally but nowhere near as much as I used to. One job I quoted a very :)long time ago ended up earning me £7 an hour turnover. Glad they moved after my second clean

I once quoted 300 quid a month for a large Hilton Hotel and got the job! We'd only been going for about eight months, but were good at waffling!
What a laugh that was! >:(
I think we lasted about four months.
