How often would you recommend a restaurant to clean their upholstery?

i do one every 3 months

don't want to sound rude but;
when its dirty!
it might be 2 months its might be 6 months
or
main walk areas every 2 months and the rest every 6

Me and Denis live in Worcestershire. We don't walk on our upholstery ;) You must have some funny habits up in Hull ;D
As for a generalisation though Mike, I'd go with you "When it's dirty" or better still, a little before the soiling level shows through.
Denis. You need to ask questions.
How old?
How many times has it been cleaned and how?
When was the last time?
If answers are unsatisfactory, suggest an audit (by yourself) at 3 months, then 6 months etc. until you are able to determine a fair interval.
It's not inconceivable that you could be cleaning those that need it at, say, six months, and everything at twelve months.

a lot depends on the fabric used, some hard wearing fabric that can take a good scrub could be left longer than a delicate fabric, but it will probably come down to how much they can afford it would be nice to do them every 6 months but will they pay for it

I do one every year recommended they have it done evey 6 months but they are not prepared to pay for it.
