Title: Re -branding the cleaning industry
Post by: angela carlton on September 29, 2006, 09:40:36 pm
There have been a few posts about training and raising the profile of cleaning and I've raised the subject myself, suggesting that it would be wise to get a program underway, before the Whitehall suits impose something on the industry which might be very unwelcome.

Today, we received a letter from a training provider in Devon requesting input to help them put together a training package.

Just wondered how many others got these.

She is a guest because either she has been banned or has got fed up with all the defamatory and derogatory comments made by members against her that she has deleted her account. Members whose intelligence and common decency leaves a lot to be desired.

It always bugs me when decent members choose to delete their accounts. Does anyone know Angela's contact details?

Asset Skills the Sector Skills Council for the cleaning industry are currently reviewing the National Framework for training in the cleaning industry. The British Institute of Cleaning Science also have a comprehensive training programme.

I am the small business representative on the Asset Skills Cleaning Board and would be interested in knowing what training you would want. The next meeting is October 24th.
