Title: new boy in town
Post by: crystal.clear on September 27, 2006, 06:28:53 pm
For about the last two months i have seen a young lad about 20 doing window cleaning. i know he's new to it because we had a chat a while ago.  While out today myself i got a new customer come up to me and ask if i could do her windows. i know the young lad does her's so i ask why she wanted rid of him. she said " he does a cr*p job" after having a look at his work i told her i will have a word with him and try to help him out as i dont want to pinch someones work. i caught up with him later and told him what happend and he said thanks for not taking it. i Then done two house's with him showing how to do it. He was so happy that he offered me the £20 for the two houses. i told him to knock off and he can buy me a pint.

We got a new guy on the block too. He used to be on the knocker, trying to get people to change their phone companies. He has never done the job trad [afraid of heights] and has got himself a new van mounted system.
He was caught out after following one of the local WFP guys with a squeezy bottle of dirty water. He was giving each newly cleaned window a dash from his bottle.
Later he was going round saying that he had seen a window cleaner cleaning their house, and were they really satisfied with his standard of work, pointing out the dirty marks. This guy can talk the talk ok. Some of the local lads are talking about a lynching party. I don't blame them. Dai
