Hi all
I just want to let you know that Richard from Derby has build me a new website :)
I am really please with it & Richard did everything I ask for.
He could not be more helpful and really went out of his way to keep me up to date with what he was doing and check I was happy with what he has done so far.
Richard has asked me if I could recommend him to anyone who is looking to have their website builds.
I would recommend him to anyone. He work from home I think. So he very easy to get hold of.
If you are looking for someone to build a website for you then I be Very happy to send you his email & phone number.

If you don't mind me asking - How much did it cost?
Andy
-
£150 + VAT (Total £176.25).
This fee include:
registration of the domain name
creation, set-up and installation of the web site
hosting of the website and e-mail service.
-
How long is the hosting for?
I don't mean to be critical, but it seems a lot of money for 1 web page...
I've been offering a site like mine >> http://www.scs.uk.com (6 pages) + a domain name / and free hosting for a year for £175 with no VAT.

It what I ask for. Just one page to keep it simple.
You can have as many page you like!
£25 +VAT per year hosting fee and £7.50 + VAT domain renewal fee. he will arrange all your renewals.
-
I have to admit David it does seem a lot for one page, have you ever thought of building one yourself? something like a one page would take you about 15 minutes and 35 quid, anyone that can cut and paste and use a spell checker can make a site as now adays the software is usually html free(code) which means the software looks more and more like "Word" ;D

its a nice little site, simple and informative
the "flash gfx's" are very well done
BUT
the cost is ALOT
£176.25 for a simple 1 page layout (ok he has used flash well) BUT a few pics would have done the job
£25 +VAT per year hosting fee, thats a more than you need, 10 quid max
£7.50 + VAT domain renewal fee this is really £2.59 a year
i guess the guy needs to make money, so we shouldnt knock him

Hi ProPole,
I built my website myself.
If you're interested in a site I would be happy to build one for you.

When your windows are due for cleaning I will email, phone or leave a note in your door 5 days beforehand. Whichever you prefer, so that you can leave the gate unlocked and the windows shut.
Blimey how much time does this take up, is it really worth it for every customer??
I do make a few calls prob about 2% of my customers but i would never do it for all.

I did my website myself.
Free webhosting and the 1st year it only cost £1 for the domain name.
I have just renewed it recently and it cost me just over £10 for the year for the domain name.
It's cheap and has worked for me.
All you have to do to get the free hosying is to have a link to there website.

It's ok I suppose ::) but it has to be said that the way you are standing on that ladder looks very dangerous to me !! :o

Why dont you all get coffe cup its free you can add as many pages as you want.
to register a domain name is about £10 for 2 years and a hosting company will charge around £20 per year do your own that way you get to put whatever you like on it change it when you want easy peasy even for people with little pc experience
