Dog earring squeegee channels knackers the squeegee rubber in no time. Just buy brass end clips for a easyier option.

Hey
Type in dog earing on the search bar.
It is a very good idea and cuts down the detailing time needed.
You will not need brass clips unless you have a squeegee that uses them.
All brass clips do is hold the rubber into the channel.
You will find most dog ear i am surprised the manurfactures have not made theire channels already like this.
I use a unger ergotech and s channel if you want some thing heavier you might want to try a brass handel and channel.
The brass ones generally use clips the unger ergotech does not and there is no need at all for them in the unger ergotech.

I do dave, after advice on this forum,
hey and by the way i didnt get round to buying a fixi clamp,
i just use my spare squeegee clamp for holding the scrim on a pole,... spring release etc.
works a treat ;)
gary.

Gazza did you find the results of this far better??
I did try but i think i bent them to far, as middle of the squeegee was not making contact to the gass very well.

hi dave.. i only used the squeefee clamp, which has a quick release spring loaded thing... not with the squeegee attached.... then popped my scrim in the clamp.
