Title: Tank Overflowing
Post by: DASERVICES on September 26, 2006, 06:09:27 pm

Again today tank overflowed  :-[ :-[

Please someone invent a valve to put in the tank lid to stop the tank
  overflowing.

Ball valve is no good as it takes capacity in your tank.
Switch is no good as it's based on time, flow rate always is different.

  Any other ideas.

  Alex,

Have you got any where with my idea.

  Doug

Put a overflow in to the drain.

  Good idea Roy,

My tank is in the van though and I fill up twice a day at customers houses.

So that's my weekend sorted, rig up an overflow from the lid.

  Thanks again Roy.

Have you thought of a water alarm, they can be 12v and very loud, takes up no room at all, you can choose the level you set it at.

Failing that use a Time switch.

It's already been invented, I have one fitted in my tank. Fitted by Essentially Pure. Tony Jardine may be able to help you out if he isn't disclosing any trade secrets by doing it!

He comes on this forum occasionally. His website is, www.puresolutionscleaning.co.uk
