Title: Whats the lightest 24ft g/f pole

i am trying to find the lightest 24ft g/f pole i currently have got a facelift pole which weighs 2.84kg including head and hose
is there a lighter one and how long will it last

also how much do they cost, the facelift cost me £330

Hi Gary,
i am currently testing out carbon fishing poles they are very very light and strong
but if you do alot of height adjusting then they probably will be a bit awkward as you have to add and take away sections,i do mostly commercial and large domestic properties and i am struggling with fibreglass poles i have been suffering with alot of pains and needed to reduce the pole weight and it is helping,Gaz

are they glass fibre , i thought they were carbon

The only way to get less weight is to go carbon. Glass has to be of a minimum thickness for its strength, if it was made much thinner it would snap.
