Hi
There have been some messages posted on this subject in the past but I'm not sure if the users are still informed by email if there's answer to one of their old posts? Anyway...
I'm hoping someone may be able to help me with a customer hand book. I'm just starting up and hope to be up and running in a couple of weeks and need to get this sorted. If someone could let me have a look at one of theirs I'd be really grateful.
Many thanks

What do you mean a "Customers Handbook"?

I think you will find that the information that cleaning companies give to prospctive customers is to most, the key to get the sale. You would get a copy of mine out of my dead hand! I have been evolving mine for near on 3 years now and I am still adding. Surely you have a start place from when you were working for someone else or intercepted a competitors?
To get you started think about who you are, why they should choose you, what assurances you give, training, H&S etc etc

Hi Tim
Yes I have made a good start and indeed my company already has a handbook of sorts but we obviously work in completely different ways as I have already made the sale before it gets to the point where I give the customer a hand book.
I give the customer a handbook when I go out to do a risk assessment at which point they have already selected my company to do their cleaning. As I said above we already have a handbook of sorts with complaints procedures etc but customers are already aware of my company's benefits as these are on flyers and other advertising merchandise so I wouldn't need this in a handbook really- in brochures I agree that this is needed (for advertising for commercial contracts) and we are currently working on this but I don't want a sales brochure to be a carbon copy of the handbook as it will not be advertising our services. All I am now looking for is something useful to pad it out with. Sorry if I upset you- plagarism was not the intention- a bit of inspiration was all I was looking for!
