Title: Car Insurance Help Req
Post by: jayjackson on September 25, 2006, 03:28:24 pm
Hi

I use my car, a Deawoo Matiz for work. My Insurance is due soon so have been getting quotes. I've moved 0.9 miles down the road and am being quoted £100 MORE, even though I've got another years NCB (3 now).

I get sdp with business use for myself only. If anyone knows of any good, cheap companies, please point me in their direction.

Many Thanks
Jay

Don't bother insuring it - thats what most do these days! 150 pound fine IF you are unlucky and get caught.

What if you hit someone? presumably youll simply drive off and leave the person in the lurch.  SCUM BAG.  if your comment was a joke then it is in very bad taste.

A couple of months back i was hit by an uninsured driver. insurance company did pay but  lost my no claims bonus  and had to rent a hire van as the insurance company thought a fiesta van would be a suitable stand in for a SWB transit..

www.confused.com

is a good site for comparison, unfortunately you won't always get a quote from all the providers, but it gives you a good idea. I've insured with Direct Line last 2 years.
