Title: 3 calls on a Sunday!
Post by: Jason Hedges on September 24, 2006, 10:19:36 pm
Hi all,

How bizarre, I very rarely get any enquiries on a Sunday, had 3 today, one previous customer and 2 new all booked all in.

Usually get calls on a Saturday but none yesterday, is it me or did the callers today get their days mixed up ;D

I wouldn't bother anyone on a Sunday. Glad they did though only had a few jobs booked for this week!

Funny old business!

Kind regards,
Jason.

Hi Jason, had someone call my freephone last night from a mobile trying to reverse the charges (not free from mobiles), the way I see it, if they cant afford the call they cant afford my prices  ;D

Hi Jason,

I would say I get about 15 calls a year on a Sunday, Last week 4 and yesterday 1 , all good jobs and booked in.

I suppose it says something about how Sunday is becoming just another day and also probably reflects my internet presence .

Cheers

Doug

I had one yesterday as well, told me what she wanted doing and said can you do it on thursday. Yes I said as I only had 1 job booked in for Thursday.

I said I would need to come and see her first to give quote and reply was, I have no time until Thursday and price is not a problem.

happy days, wish they all were like this.

cheers

neil

Got a phone call on Saturday...wanting me to do a job ON SUNDAY !
Asked if it was urgent ? and she said no, not really !

Do these people think we have nothing to do on a sunny Sunday morning ???????????

I didn't get a call-but I picked up a job while out running on the Lomand Hills yesterday! As I was running up the hill through the horizontal rain & mist a bedraggled figure stopped me and said 'don't you clean carpets?'
Top & bottom of it was I got his number (because we're resposible people! always carry pen paper & a compass) gave him a ring-got the job. Strange old world!
