Hi leather cleaning experts,
Is there any product that may help remove biro ink from a leather suite ( quite apparently we are irresponsible grand parents letting our grand children write on their leather suite whilst baby sitting for them ).
Many thanks

Tony,
Someone on here a while ago mentioned using warm milk to get rid of biro.

Methylated spirits usually used to work for me when dealing with cloth coverings, but may be dodgy on leather.
I haven't had a biro mark for years. Most of my clients keep their pens in their studies! ::)

Ink removal can be tricky on leather when it has been left for a while. We do have products that remove old ink but you will also need to know how to deal with any further problems that these products may cause ( they may remove some of the colour or finish in which case these will have to be replaced) Solvent products will remove finish and pigment. It is always best to use products that have been developed for use on leather specifically as any other substances may be doing damage without you realising it.
Repairs on pigment leather are fairly straight forward once you know the type of leather and finish you are dealing with.
