I recently had a plumber in my house doing some work and whilst he was here I asked if he would do a water pressure test for me,
he did this test and told me my water pressure was 35.
Now I watched the guy do the test and because I have a swan neck Tap on my kitchen sink, I noticed he did not get a good connection on it, he turned the tap on and water gushing out of the top of the guage,
my question is do you think I had an accurate reading, My suspisions are that I didn't

Does anyone know the answer ??? ???

In a word no - pressure is a static meaurement, if water is escaping then PRESSURE is escaping. Think of it like a balloon, if you blow up a balloon and tie it the pressure stays the same, if you don't tie it (allowing air to escape) then the pressure falls.
