Ive been asked to quote for a builder's clean on a new housing development. Im waiting for the site map but suspect it will be between 10 and 20 houses as they are all now complete. I've been asked to quote for a builder's clean on each house inside and out and a " sparkle" clean on each house. I'm a traditional window cleaner and was wondering how do I quote...per hour...per house?????

Have you a CIS card you will need it.
If not you will need to contact the inland revenue for one.

I didn't think i'd need this as i'm not subcontracting. I have been contacted directly by the company which have built the houses???

CIS cards are free, pop into the tax office and you will have one within a week.
TAke some ID and a little picture. Good to have incase you ever need one.

Ive just finished a contract for a large well known housing development and if your going inside to clean you will definately need a cis card.
Takes about 5 days to arrive but its worth having.
Outside cleans are exempt from cis
P.s next year its all changing again and you wont need a cis card/certificate as it will be down to each individual to do their own tax deductions atter payment builders cleans or not.

be prepaired!!!!!!
you will spend a lot longer on each window than you think.
remember you will be removing stickers, bits of plaster etc etc
