The Hydramaster spitfire 3.2 is the most reliable Tm made. Anyone that tells you otherwise would be completly wrong
-
that good to hear, does that go for the 4.0 too Glynn?
-
No, not really. The 4.0 has more things to go wrong like sensors all over it and a bit more complex overall. Although properly maintained the 4.0 is a good powerfull truckmount, it has a larger engine and larger blower.

Best guy to speak to Simon is Paul Elliot, he's run one for a few years now. What he don't know about them he could put on the back of a postage stamp.
He can be found on the cleantalk board

I've owned 3 entry level truckmounts including a Spitfire 3.2 & 4.0 both were not as good as the Prochem Blazer.
its the heat that lets them down.

thats funny because ive got a spitfire 4.0 and it produces more heat than i need, it'll go up to steam if i want, so i have it turned downed a bit.
-
but how quick did it get that hot?
at the end of the day it was Ok but the first jobs never had the heat.
the blazer got hotter a lot quicker

i let mine tickover for 3-4 mins (first job so from cold) then i start cleaning cleanest parts of room, as they dont require all the heat to clean, its pretty much coming through hot as i get to dirtier bits, course bit slower the more lenghs of solution im using, but hot before i've finished first room, i honestly could'nt complain about the heat, it's supprised me just how good it is considering its a heat exchange.
maybe it's been improved, redesigned? since yours?

Tut tut, jewell's you forgot to say how fast they heat up and stay hot. ;) But don't shout to much about them or else every one will want one :o Then were will we be jewell's :-\

Craig, dont you bleed the hoses before you clean? This way you clean hot from the start and not with at least, day old cold chemicals..... and maybe the wrong chemical at that, best, Dave.

i do somtimes if i want hot striaght off, i will run it through outside, but as i say normally start cleaning clean bits of room, that dont need heat.
i do use cold prespray your right, an day or so old, seems to work ok to me.
