Theres this old peoples nursing home by me, ive been trying get the windows for ages now, its not too big just averaged sized, ive sent them letters, posted flyers and buisness cards through the letter box and never heard nothing off them, yesterday i went knocking around a few streets where i live and as i was walking past i thought ide just call at the nursing home on the off chance just to see what they say, i knocked on asked them if they had a wc, a nice young nurse said no we havent, asked her if they wanted one she said maybe, i gave her a price of £25 all round, today she phoned me and said can i do it tomorrow, not only that she wants it done every 2 weeks.
so knocking really does pay off.

I am not surprised at £25.00

Well done Kerry for getting the job,do you think you have a decent price is what I think Dave is saying.
How long do you think it will take after you have done the first clean and how many windows.
Personally I find fortnightlies are good cos its double the money and you can keep right on top of them and they are nice cleans ie glass and frames are very easy to clean once you have done the first clean.the first clean might take a while thoughn if they have been neglected but after that they should be a doddle.
-
its not that big, it shouldnt take me more than about 45 mins to an hour on myself max, its just like a large house, they already look quite clean, but theres lots of trees around so ile get a better look tomorrow, when ime doing it.
-
£25 for 45 to 60 mins seems decent to me Kerry, good luck with the job.

If first of all you don't succeed, try, try, again!!!
Nice one, its nice to see you didn't give up.
I have prospects I have been chipping away at for years, you just never know when it will be your turn.
Best of luck,
keep it going,

hi trevor i have just read your slogan we dont cut corners ect. is it copyright? its a great slogan, i would like to use it on my flyers, do i need permission ? thanks.
-
I published my first communication with companies house 15 years ago with this slogan as proof that I was using it then.
As far as copyright goes, I don't think its a problem, only if someone was using it and offending the originator, which, I believe is me?
Anyway, I am not bothered if you use it, fill ya boots.
