Anybody go??

Well I got as far as Jun 5 M6, sat in traffic without moving for 2 & 1/2 hours at Lichfield, turned around and went home!
Apparently a Lorry had turned over killing the driver and was so bad they had to re-surface the M6. So J5 to J7 was completely shut.
Seems the whole of South Birmingham was at a stand still all day.
So am a bit P***ed off, been looking forward to it for a while.

Phil got your proofs for your cards from woodbridge day I did ;D

Just got back. Luckily I travelled from the frozen wastelands in the north, so I wasn't affected by the traffic.
Very interesting day. As advertised, it concentrated on pile lifting, dry vacuuming and various types of low moisture and very low moisture systems. Also snuck in a demo of a truck mount.
Met some good guys and swapped tips, tricks and info.
Many thanks to all those who were involved in the organisation and demonstrations.

Hahaha, are they doing some for you?
What do you think of mine, can I see what yours look like?

I'd like to thank everybody who turned up today for helping to make the NCCA Hands On Experience such a success.
Having to perform the duties of host, MC and also a system demonstrator was certainly a challenge to my organisational skills, so when things got a little hectic, if I didn't give individuals the attention they deserved, please forgive me.
We certainly had a lot to get through, but I think that everything we advertised was presented well with ample opportunity for all to try out the equipment.
Although I was able to arrange for some reasonable weather, I couldn't do the same for the traffic. Quite a few people were unable to make their way to Wolverhampton. Sadly, a lorry driver lost his life in an accident near J6 of the M6. The carnage was so bad that the motorway has been closed all day. As I write, it is still closed and not expected to be reopened until about 9.30 this evening.
In discussions with others today, we may be able to use premises close to the M1 in Leicestershire for a similar event next year. If there's enough interest, it is something I would certainly like to be involved with.
Thankyou again to all who attended.
Safe and happy cleaning :)

Before you go to print, just check your spelling on the word "independant" - the correct spelling is "independent".
