Hi all
i only use soft squeegie blades,
when do you need the hard ones?
also do you all carry different widths of squeegies,
simple but effective question from ;)a newbie!

Hard rubber is for the summer months, I only use soft rubber when it is cold. I carry with me a 14" a 10" and a 6" blade. I also have a 22" in the van for shop windows.
On one large job I have with lots of long thin panes I have cut a channel to fit. :)

Soft one's do a better Job and the hard one's last longer

got to agree that soft are best, but do wear quicker!.
Just experiment with different makes and hardness's and plumb for the one you feel most comfortable with...winter or summer.
How many channels you have is down to the individual, I have several different sizes. The 14" one is the most commonly used though, do have an 18" one but hardly use that one, I am at least as quick with the 14" one.
The bigger the channel does not mean the faster you will go either, for the proof of that you only have to witness our own 'Turbo' Terry in action ;)
though it can help on huge plate glass windows...fewer passes etc.

soft ones for me all year round, tend to last me a month as i use a leather holster and find that my blades dont nick as much as putting in ya bucket on a belt
