I know that this is only half of what you're looking for, but here's a link to my diy trailer mount, I only have a renault megane, not quite got the pickup yet. Sigh !! I can still dream though ;D ;D ;D

Shawn,
Take a look at the Concept 20 thread, there's a couple of pics of a trailer mounted system.

Looks a bit dodgy to me!! :o

Two of our trailer systems.
The first one is an 800 litre multipurpose unit for both jet washing/gutter washing and wfp window/cladding
(http://www.omnipole.com/800%20litre%20trailer%20water%20fed%20and%20jet%20wash%20combi0001.jpg)
This one is a 250 litre unit that produces water as you work.

i think that tims trailer is well done and he has obviosly spent alot of time on it .... and as long as it suits his round and bdget good on him... ;)
i do like that one from omnipole... the thing is in a while i might get a nice pickup and a trailer so i have something nicer you take the missus out in than a smelly damp fiat scudo... lol

What is it that looks dodgy exactly? Which system, as the post above yours speaks of the concept o2 system, or are you saying that my diy trailer is dodgy looking? if it's mine, please let me know what is dodgy looking about it so that I can improve it if it needs it.

I don't see any doors or roller shutters to close the back up,
That is expensive equipment in the back just to be left open, or is the picture just for demonstration. ???

shawn I have a small box trailer from indespension with 250 lt tank fitted
cost a 1000 and aout 500 to fit out for 2 operators, also has roller door fpr locking
I tow it with a kangoo diesel, this way when you dont need to hook up the trailer the kangoo gets 55 to the gallon, its a good trailer but doing it again I might of bought a braked trailer at 2100 this way you can tow upto 1300kg as with unbrake you can only tow 750kg and with the brakes it is easier to reverse, but hay it was cheap enough
this is their site http://www.indespension.co.uk/
hope this helps

Alright Shawn
i am also thinking along the lines of a pick- up as it will be cheaper to run one than a car and a van.
i will just bolt a tank straight on the back, it saves the hassle of towing and they generally have a good payload.
cheers

Shawn, i use a Toyota Hilux crew cab and wouldnt swap it for any van, so versatile and carrys over a 1000kg with ease and seats 5 adults comfortably so therefore you end up with a quality workhorse thats going to last you for years and a great family motor aswell.
