Hi Guys,
I've been going about a year now, and have managed to build up quite anice round.
However, lately, whilst speaking to other window cleaners, I've been told that London fronts are charged a between £8 - £14. ???
I guess this is a question for those of you working in London.
I was thinking of upping my minimum starting price to £8 instead of the £6.50 it is at the moment. Any advise, comments would be welcomed.
Thanks
Jay

Hi Jay,
Our minimum price take it or leave it starts at £10
There are only so many working hours in a day and I will make best use of them.
Best wishes,

Thanks for the response guys, been thinking for a while now that I've been working to long in terms of hours to make decent money. With a 4 month old, I really want to be able to spend longer at home, so making my min charge in line with yours seems to be the way to go.
Once again, thanks very much,
Jay

Just to confirm guys, these are the sort of fronts that make up my round.
Should I still be setting my min to £10?
Thanks for help.

Hi Jay,
Look at it this way, if your doing this house for less than £10 and another came up that was willing to pay you £10 which would you clean?
You can't be in two places at the same time so make wherever you are the most profitable or at least make sure you don't lose money!

£3 or £4 - how can you manage to charge £10 for that? Lucky guys - you've no idea how easy you have it. Absolute max of £4.50 here for that.
Plus we pay higher vehicle/public liability insurance than anyone else!

We are not lucky to charge £10 as some of the cleaners near me would only charge £4 - £5 but our min charge is £10 the can either take it or leave it.
If it is a new job quote £10 if they say no you have not lost anything as you never had it to begin with.
Most people will pay if you are regular and do a decent job
