Title: advice needed on vented frames
Post by: james cairns on September 08, 2006, 10:17:01 pm
guys was doing a modern estate today with the vent pratically on the glass
built into the frame as close to the glass as possible. noticed a lot came up ok but the odd one had spots, is it possible that because I am using fan jets that some spray is going onto the vents and creating dirt and would you change over to pencil jets on this type of property

any help appreciated

I've cleaned these type of windows with pencil jets & had complaints, so I don't think that is the answer. Perhaps we have to admit some windows just aren't suitable to WFP.

Keep your brush on the glass that way you will minimise the risk of water comming in contact with the vent.

Also so back further so the brush angle points more down.

what I tend to do is to soak the vent, brush around it, rinse all of it, then go onto the next window - do the same and when I've finished the house I give each window a quick rinse avoiding, but getting very close to the vent.
