Title: ANYONE EVER MOVED BUSINESS TO NEW AREA OF COUNTRY?
Post by: tatman on September 08, 2006, 07:28:06 pm
Has anyone ever moved their  business to another part of the country and whats it like starting again in an unfamilar area? C'mon guys someone out there must have some info (ANY) on the window cleaning industry in the Mablethorpe/skeggy area. It looks like there might be a gap in the market in this area as i've looked on various web sites and business guides and not found any window cleaners in mablethorpe. Although ive seen a few in skeggy. Im looking at relocating my business there wondering what it was like etc.

Especially if they are on the  old king cole! I don't believe you will find an easy ride with this one mate id suggest you spend a day canvassing before you think about relocating?

Regards Rob.

The town I am in has no yellow page ads for a WC but there are some knocking about, how legit they are I dont know but i am a newbie and havent got a very public ad anywhere, picked up 2 jobs today via word of mouth into a street I had not canvassed and they sacked there old cleaner.Felt a bit crap about that but he had an accident  -on his ladder - and has only been doing bungalows since and this customer was fed up of waiting for him to decide to return to doing her terraced house.Feel very sorry for him but if he cant do it the customer is entitled to find someone else but I still feel pap about it.
