Hi
Got contacted by this company who offer 10 leads a month for 12 months for £495.
I am meeting with the rep tomorrow, gonna ask for proof and satisfied customers but has anyone ever heard of them, any good, leads of any value, etc.
Would appreciate any advice

Hi Martin
I had a visit from them in April of this year. The sales pitch was very good and i signed up. The leads they send are more of planning applications than anything else.

complete waste of money. we signed up, suppose to receive contacts every month. Only received about 4 info packs over the year.

Hi
Thanks so far guys.
Hey Carl, I know you are in Brighton as I am, they say they are only offering this to two companies in this area for competition reasons?
Also if it is just on the application front this info is freely available on the net, how have you done with them so far, how's the quality?
Also just had a friend do me 400 contact details in our area (labels included)
Anyone else wants this info for your area I will hand you over to her?
Either email me or post your number and I will give her your number to call you?

There was another thread about this firm in the last week or two but I can't remember exactly what it was called.
From memory, the concensus was that this information is available for free albeit you might have to go and look for it.
My recommendation - keep your money in your pocket

Hi Martin, they told me the same , that they would provide the information to 2 contractors in each area. There has not been any worthwhile leads from the information provided by them.

Hi
I am going top the meeting now(12.30) with the intention of tearing his sales pitch apart ;)
I know all the planning info is available for free, it will be interesting to see if he can give any proof, or satisfied customers?

I used to work for Glenigan many moons ago.
I've written about this in a previous thread.
Basically, the info is free, but Glenigan have teams of researchers who 'refine' the information - typically the council info is not 100%
They then package it together into all sorts of different products, each one aimed at a different market or at a differnet stage (from outline planning applications through to office moves).
Be interested to know who they send you, see if the name rings a bell.
Cheers.
