Hi All
We carry out about 20 Trauma Cleans a year very good payment for the work. I get asked to do a lot more, but some times they are a long way from me.
Always get told that they can not find any one to carry out the work.
Just intrested who there is that dose do it. If any one other then me.

Hi Bob,
We don't do trauma scene cleans, but would have no problem with them.
Some of the cleans that we have done seem like trauma scenes.

Have been doing trauma scene, crime scene whatever you want to call it for 12 years. Best, Dave.

Hi Bob,
Could you email me more details on this? What formalities are required etc. Maybe you could sub some work out to people in other areas?
email in profile

I attended a 1 day tutorial through the BDMA to find out more about trauma scene clean ups.
Blood on a floor / wall / carpet etc. I think I could cope with, but if you get into this line of work, you may well have to scrape up other body parts including skin, hair, eye balls, ears, noses, ears, brains, guts, faeces etc. etc. :-[
I think it would be quite disturbing work, not for the feint hearted and something which you can not think about and get involved.
Just see it as another cleaning job.
Personally - it's not for me.
Also be aware of correct PPE, innoculations, washing and sanitisng facilities, cross contamination - leaving blood borne pathogens in a property or passing on blood borne pathogens.
On the course we were told of horror stories - where people were left traumatised and where others had been sued having not carried out their work correctly.
I'm not an expert in this field - just passing on info received.
