Hi guys and gals,
my scrims are about 2 years old now, they dont get much use as we are mostly wfp and have been for 2 years.
I have always washed them as normal and tumble dried them.Last week I noticed when I was detailing the scrims were leaving what looked like fibres on the glass and it takes some shifting as it just follows the scrim. ::)
To look at the scrims they are fully intact with no signs of wear and tear.
Have any of you trad guys come across this problem before.
And if so how did you get round it.
Thanks
Pete

i think your scrims may be a bit old and are starting to rot hence the fibres on glass.

Your scrims are dieing mate.. Try the microfibre ones on ebay about £4 each but last 10 times longer with no hair loss. ;D

I wish my scrim would last 2 years.
Most of my scrim last 8 - 12 months
