Did we read it correctly. The brochure from Alltec which includes details of a 1200 psi portable.

If there was a beast like that what would you use if for?.Too much psi for carpets and upholstery and not enough for jet washing.

Little use having a pump pushing out any more than 500 psi for normal cleaning.

It is a 1200psi "portable" but it's for use with the hard floor tools in mind.

"The Olympus M1200 is designed primarily to make easy work of cleaning tile & grout when attached to the SX-12 tool"

Safe and happy cleaning :)
Ken

PS You may want to try a Powerflite/CFR Wonder Wand at that pressure, I know of some who run them @ 1000psi 8)

So I did read ( without specs ) 1200 psi but the brochure was binned before I got back to it.

I would tend to agree that it's unlikely you would ever use such pressure, but 1000 psi's  been around for years, from CFR and a few others, in the U.S.

The Cfr machine works in a totally different way to all other portables.

For cleaning patios I use a presure washer with 3000psi,1200 is not enough.

Peter,
Is it not the same machine that you got from Matt @ Cleansmart, and the same as the ones Woodbridge sell?
I think a few suppliers have got them but they all have different badges on them, are they not also the same as Mastercleans Rhino?

hi red not sure what you mean. i have never bought a machine off matt the portable i have is the speedster made by mytee and maximum psi is 450 its a different casing to the rhino though looks similar. not having seen the other machine in question i cant really comment. all i know is the cfr do do a machine that has a 1200 psi with one vac though seen the machine have not seen it in action.

Hi Peter, i have been looking at the mytee speedster myself. Are they any good and are the claims they are suggesting true? They say 150 feet of hoses and red hot water with 450 psi. Is this true? Hace been asking around but no-one has any ideas. Ta in advance. Damian.

The Alltec machine, looks the same as the Mytee to me.

Peter,
Matt was trying to sell me a machine before, and told me to speak to you about it as you had brought and returned every portable going, and then brought one of these and was over the moon with it ???

Maybe he meant you brought it from Woodbridge.

Paul

We owned a CFR 7 or 8 years ago, which had 400psi and was a fantastic machine. It was very seldom run at the full 400, but it was great to have it on tap.

Some condemn the re cycling principle, but we found it left carpets cleaner than anything we used, before, or since.

I keep popping in here, hoping to find a Klanz machine, on offer, which would allow my husband to resume c/c ing in some capacity.
