can you clean leaded windows with wfp?

Not if they leak, as i found out last week on a listed building, had to do it trad, took me ages.

The old type leaded windows nearly always leak, the newer ones are fine. Doing them trad should not take you ages, just use one damp scrim to wash followed by a dry one to buff them up. If they are really dirty I use an applicator to scrub them followed by a damp scrim to get rid of most of the water followed by a dry scrim. I can clean them easily as quick trad using this method as I can with wfp and not have to worry about leaks. :)

You can do old leaded windows with WFP also even the leaky one's.

Just turn the flow down and you shouldn't get a problem.

I bet you get a lot of runs and spots on leaded with the flow turned down!

No you only get spots and runs if you dont do the windows correctly.

You can get perfect results no matter what you set your water flow to.
It just take slightly longer on a low flow.

Its all about the correct technique

No its about the same.

I gather from your posts though that you have not done to well with WFP.
So maybe you need to spend a bit of time with someone who does get good results.

I get good results with wfp, but I find it much less hassle to use trad.
