I currently use a 4 jet wand with a 500psi machine but feel I lose out on pressure.
Would I be better using a 2 jet for more pressure ? and do you get better results than the 4 jet or what is the preferred option ?

You may use a 500psi pump however by the time it hits the carpet its more like 300psi
-
500psi pump should still be plenty for a 4 jet i would have thought, i think its smaller size jets in those to compensate for there being more anyway.
do you know the size of the jets?
-
It all depends also whether it being used on a porty or TM as the lpm is different, but craig is right it's all down to the jets
-
i have a 3 jet wand............on a ninja 135psi
works for me :) :)

spindle, try a single fan jet wand and you will notice a considerable difference. To the better of course. Why would you want to divide by 3 what is at best a very limited psi? Best, Dave.

the jet sizes are stated on the chart and as usual they add up to .6

Could be a problem with the machine more than the wand.
-
If your machine is 500 psi when you open the trigger you should get 500 psi. We manuacture 500 psi and we deliver 500 psi to the wand.
Secondly to achive this you should be running your wand with 11015 jets.
Yours may be worn and need changing, also your bypass valve may need replacing as it can be bypassing at the wrong pressure.

Where can you buy stainless steel jets & brass jets on line ?
-
Dont forget you should change your brass jets on a regular basis the brass expands and more water can pass through them causing overwetting of the carpet :'(
